Proverbs 8 paints a picture of a personified wisdom as God’s partner in creation. The whole Bible, in fact, describes wisdom as the crucial aspect of God and God’s plan for creation. For God to create through wisdom also means that God has set wisdom as the blueprint for humanity in God’s purposes for creation.
