I've had a tonne of issues with Generic Thermostat/Better Thermostat with the Tado heating system. The controls of GT are great but when using Tado you can't rely on it honouring the temperature you give it. So this is my fix for this. I don't like adding scenes because of the way Home Assistant manages them but it's the only way I've found to control the temperature.
