Thidambu Nritham is a Hindu temple ritual dance performed in the Northern part of Kerala state in India. Kala Shri Puthumana Govindan Namboothiri is the most important revivalist of thidambu nritham from its original 'ritualistic nritham' which was only prevalent inside temple premises, and observed among temple priests since 1300s. Apart from redefining, rejuvenating, innovating and inventing steps, he also devoted his life to preserve the old traditional styles of thidambu nritham.
