NLP teaches as a Meta Program, away and toward motivation. How do you set a goal with an away motivated client? For my former students, please check your manual, prior to the Well Formed Outcome process, there is a section on "pacing the problem state" that has its own set of questions. Make sure you spend more time on the well formed outcome, versus spending a long time and getting stuck into the problem state. It is just a way to use the right meta model questions for the problem in a sense.
