This my review of Paris Dakar Rally on the PS2 video game console.

It was developed by Broadsword Interactive, distributed by Acclaim Entertainment LTD, and released in 2000.

It seems to be a bit of a ropy unpolished game, but I really really like it!

The game has exclusive rights to the world's most famous off-road rally race, and features 24 officially licensed cars, buggies, bikes and quads from the top manufacturers, and each race has multiple routes to the check-point, yielding unparalleled replay.

The game begins in rural Paris and ends on a beach in Dakar, Senegal, with 11 stages in between, including tracks in the Sahara Desert and Atlas Mountains.
