Israeli jets struck Yemen’s Sanaa international airport while the director-general of the World Health Organisation was inside as Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, vowed to “cut off” one of the branches of Iran’s so-called “axis of resistance”.
The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) said that its fighter jets had struck “Houthi terror regime” targets at Sanaa airport, as well as military infrastructure at the Hezyaz and Ras Kanatib power stations.
Air strikes also hit military infrastructure in the al-Hudaydah, Salif and Ras Kanatib ports on the western coast.
