Heat sinks are used to extract heat so that the DVR card will maintain a constant temperature. This will make it so the card processes more efficiently. The LE-8008A has the motion detection option so you will not have to waste space on your computer with empty footage. It has enhanced mpeg-4 compression technology and can support up to 2 stacked DVR cards per PC, which is equivalent to 16 channels at 30 fps or 32 channels at 15 fps. Using the software, you will be able to view this card and its cameras remotely over the internet and control the PTZ through an LAN connection. It also supports an IE remote monitor.
