Friday Sermon delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

It is a blessing of Allah that Jalsa Salana of UK Jama’at was successfully held. We should be grateful to Allah. In order for us to be grateful, we should try to win the pleasure of God at every moment of our life. Both the participants and the volunteers should continue to be grateful so that a pure change occurs in their life. The Holy Prophet (sa) said that whoever isn’t grateful to people isn’t grateful to Allah either. One purpose of Jalsa is that these feelings of brotherhood and gratefulness should be established for fellow brothers. These things greatly impress our guests and they express that they witness true Islamic teachings at Jalsa. They express that if this is the teaching of Islam, then it needs to spread worldwide. A politician from Benin said that I understood Jama’at through Jalsa. I didn’t see any weakness in Jalsa. People of every class and category were busy trying to provide comfort to others. I will never forget these scenes. There were scenes of brotherhood everywhere which increased us in spirituality. The Khalifa’s address to the ladies was very faith inspiring wherein he explained their status and great responsibilities. A professor from Costa Rica said that I saw a new face of Islam and Muslims through Jalsa. Another guest from Costa Rica said that I listened to all addresses of the Khalifa of Jama’at. What greatly impressed me was this point that praying for your enemies makes your heart pure. This is the teaching given by the Promised Messiah (as). Huzoor mentioned various comments of guests from many countries. For example, a guest said that if there is a true religion, it’s Islam Ahmadiyyat. A guest said that if the world wishes to establish peace, it must follow the guidelines of the Imam of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. A politician from Philippines said that what most impacted me was mutual love of Ahmadis. Huzoor said that we should make sure that this mutual love between members of Jama’at should always stay, not only in the days of Jalsa. Another guest said that I have never seen these many young people in a religious gathering. A Muslim politician from Guinea Conakry said that I have participated in many Islamic conventions, including Hajj, but have never seen such wonderful system. I have firm faith that the hand of God is with you people. Then another guest said that the scenes of International Bai’at had a great impact on me. I have never seen a ceremony like this filled with spirituality and righteousness. Many guests and journalists praised the set up at Jalsa for women and said that Ahmadiyyat is the true Islamic Jama’at which gives due Islamic rights to women. Almost 128 million people were reached through media news about Jalsa Salana. May Allah bless all volunteers who participate in this silent Tabligh for Islam. They all worked very hard. Huzoor also praised wonderful work of approximately 350 Canadian Khuddam who had gone for waqf-e-Arzi. Huzoor (aba) also mentioned that he hopes that all of them have listened to Jalsa Salana. May Allah enable all of us to fulfill our responsibilities and we always give precedence to our faith over worldly matters. Ameen Huzoor-e-Anwar also announced following funeral prayers in absentia: Zakia Begum Sahiba, Tariq Masood sahib (Murabbi Silsila), Shakil Munir sahib (Former Ameer Australia).
