The Tsamiko (Greek: Τσάμικος, Tsamikos) is a popular traditional folk dance of Greece, Danced almost exclusively by men, this dance is strongly reminiscent of the 1821 era in Greek history. Today Tsamiko is a popular dance in festivals and weddings and it is danced by everyone throughout the world.
Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Temecula, California sponsored their Annual Greek festival at Old Town Temecula Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, October 25th & 26th, 2014. The event was Outstanding with awesome entertaining by the fabulous “4 Greeks LA” band, "Tatoolis ~ Bouzouki Special Performance", "Valentina Swearingen ~ Russian Piano Vocal", "Ta Pedakia - Young Performance Group" of Temecula, St. Spyridon Dance Group, Cardiff-By-The-Sea Dance Group, Special Belly-Dancing Performance, various Greek music including Armenian and others was played, the event also had Awesome Greek Gourmet Foods and Low-Calorie (lol) Pastries, Greek cooking demonstrations, various merchants selling unique merchandise and kids games!!! This was the Last Greek Festival of 2014 Season, which was really Superb!! ΟΠΑ
