In light of the uptick in hate incidents throughout the country and in our community, our office co-hosted this Bystander Intervention Training with Santa Clara County Supervisor Otto Lee, Santa Clara Councilmembers Kevin Park, Raj Chahal, and Suds Jain.
The presentation from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) aims to equip you with the skills to intervene and support our community when we witness these incidents. During the training, you will be learning about de-escalation tactics and provide safety, support, and solidarity to those targeted.
