The Jagadhatri Puja in Chandannagar, Hooghly, West Bengal, is a grand festival celebrated with spectacular lights, vibrant decorations, and large-scale processions. In 2024, the celebrations will take place from November 6th (Panchami) through November 12th (Dashami). Similar to the grandeur of Kolkata’s Durga Puja, Chandannagar's Jagadhatri Puja attracts thousands of visitors, especially for its unique tradition of elaborate lighting displays and artistic pandals.

During the festivities, the town fills with pandals, each adorned with elaborate idols of Goddess Jagadhatri, who is worshipped as the protector of the universe. The final day, Dashami, culminates in a long, dramatic procession of the idols, accompanied by cultural performances and vibrant light displays, creating an electric atmosphere throughout the city. The festival is deeply rooted in tradition, and people from across the region and beyond come to Chandannagar to witness its opulence​
