The new “Trace” from Shaper Tools (creators of Shaper Origin ) will blow you away with its ability to create .svg files (scaleable vector files) in seconds from your own artwork, someone elses, templates, etc.
Once the outline is scanned, its ready to send to the software or tool of your choice. CNC routers, lasers, CNC plasma cutters, vinyl plotters, etc.
If you just want to digitize hand drawings, this will do that. If you just want to scan a logo and cut it in wood, you’re all set. I think this tool is going to change a lot of peoples work flow.
