100 Days of Community Engagement - Day 5 - December 26, 2025
On the fifth day of this initiative, I had the pleasure of hosting my friend Prabha Balakrishnan at my home for an interview.
Prabha Balakrishnan, a celebrated artist and a prominent figure among Canadian Tamils, is set to organize a grand musical event titled “Prabha 50” on January 24th. This event will honor his incredible 50-year journey in the field of music, celebrating his achievements with his fans, friends, and family.
As part of the event, Praba plans to release a new music album, with all proceeds going to support the Tamil Community Centre. We had an engaging conversation about the event, its vision, and how we can promote it to the wider community. You can watch the full interview with Praba in the video below.
During our discussion, Praba recommended Uthayan Thurairajah to take part in this challenge. I am excited to meet Uthayan in the coming days and continue this journey of community engagement.
