As part of the 3-Door Single Decker Bus Trial, SG4002G is permitted to only operate on two Bus Services – 190 and 901. The trial is expected to end on 18 December 2017.

The 3-Door MAN Lion’s City LE bus is one of the concept buses displayed during the SITCE Bus Fair in 2016. Unlike most MAN A22s on the roads, this unit, rather, is of a low-entry build, as compared to the low-floor counterparts. This bus also adopts a facelifted design on its front that is similar to the new MAN A95 double decker buses for Singapore.
