Crossing the old Route 66 pony bridge over the South Canadian River on the Caddo and Canadian county line in west central Oklahoma. The highway is now also US Route 281 and State Route 8, and it is located just off the southeastern tip of Blaine County. Nearest communities are Geary, Bridgeport, and Hinton. The direction of travel was southwest toward the junction with Interstate 40 three miles away. This old 38 pony truss bridge was built in 1933 and is 3944 feet long.
