Going Down The Road is played in open G on a National, 'Triolian' , resonator guitar. I first came across this traditional blues song in the Burl Ives song book. I was about eleven years old and had just started to learn guitar and wanted to play something with chords in it. Little did I know that I would be still playing it 48 years later - but without any regular chords! A studio version of this song will feature on my next release in 2017 'Blues, Rembetica & Beyond' (unless you are watching this in 2018 - in which case it will be my previous release).
