Traditional fishing and the fishing industry transformed a small seaside village into a world-renowned town. Nowadays, only a few small groups of fishermen fish in these waters, reminding us of the once majestic fleet. Still, fishing left a strong mark that can be still perceived in every corner of the town of Izola.
