Despite her success, she found herself bullied on Facebook, threatened and harassed when she started to uncover some unpleasant facts and apparent wrongdoing of some members of the community. However, Narima fought back her detractors and rose above the challenge as she continued to excel as a leader. She was voted one of the Top 25 Canadian Immigrants 2012 and now seeking nomination as NDP-MLA Candidate for Surrey-Tynehead for this coming BC Provincial Election.
