Journalist Charles Miranda discusses his experience following the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami.
Today marks the 20th anniversary since the 9.1 magnitude earthquake killed more than 220,000 civilians, including 26 Australians.
“It was absolute – it was as far as the eye can see of devastation,” Mr Miranda told Sky News host James Macpherson.
“It was pure devastation – there was nothing ever like it.”
