We finally manages to record the field test for the Realistic TRC1005 3.5W 40-channel flagship handheld from 1983-1987 (£139.99). This is the base side, & I'm talking to Mr Chippie on our usual 6-mile 'bad terrain for radio' test route. I'm using the Rotel RVC230 to talk to him on the TRC1005.
I don;t think it quite worked as well as the TRC1001 even though the chassis is just about the same.
