Thousands of well-wishers were treated to the sight of the Royal Family walking to church for the traditional Christmas day service - but the Duchess of Cornwall was missing.
On a cold but sunny day, royal fans caught a glimpse of the Queen and her family as they made their way to the place of worship near the Queen's private home of Sandringham in Norfolk.
But Camilla was not able to attend because she has a bad back, said Clarence House.
Leading the way from Sandringham to St Mary Magdalene church was the Princess Royal, flanked by the Duke of Edinburgh and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. They were followed by the Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who were holding hands, and other members of the family.
