The water glimmered under the afternoon sun, each ripple or wave sparkling as if a thousand diamonds lay beneath its surface. It had been a long time since she'd seen the sea, longer than she could remember. Slightly overwhelmed, she made her way to the water's edge, a calming breeze ruffling her hair as she sat down and pulled off her shoes. Cautiously she dipped her toes in, allowing the waves to lap against her ankles for a moment. Then with a smile and a quick glance over her shoulder, she held her breath and dived straight in.

Aptly named Cruel Trance, the EP floats through hazy, sub-aquatic electronics; from deep, percussive rhythms through to IDM-tinged bleeps, immersive dub techno and broken electro.
