Prokaryotic homologue of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, as a homo pentamer. The transmembrane domain has 4 alpha helices connected by short loops. M2 for pore lining move outward at the extracellular side and move inward at the intracellular entry for channel opening. Extracelllular domain has a wide vestibule, negatively charged for cation transduction.
