The most violent civil war the world has seen in recent decades unfolds in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. "The Fight For Tigray" examines what led to the war and the efforts of the Tigrayan diaspora to mobilize the world to end the war and a horrific genocide.

***UPDATE: The leaders of the Tigray region and the Ethiopian federal government signed a peace agreement on November 2nd, 2022. The peace agreement has effectively ended armed conflict in Tigray, but many questions remain unanswered, like the fate of Western Tigray, where the most horrific violence took place. Progress has been slow to get aid to the people of Tigray and rebuild the region. It has been estimated that up to 800,000 people have lost their lives due to the war that ranged on for 2 years.***
