Neck and shoulder pain treated with dry needling and electrical stimulation.
Here I am stimulating the #motorpoints of the upper trapezius, the infraspinatus, the teres, and trigger points along the affected muscles and #fascia.
You will notice that there are six needles pretty close together on the #uppertrapezius and that's because each one of those was a massive #triggerpoint that released really well with my needling.
This is a patient who likes strong needling--I would not do that on every patient by any stretch. Normally I do one or two up there but he does heavy physical exercise and he's a bartender so he's got multiple active trigger points up there.
He already had a single treatment with about 75% improvement of pain that has been bothering him for six months. When he got up off the table today he reported feeling 100% better. That is really great for only two treatments! #dryneedlingworks !!!
