Instead of taking the Chinatown MRT bridge or underpass, I decided to walk along Eu Tong Sen Street to get to Chinatown Point.
Discovered a lot going on in Yue Hwa Building! Their windows were dolled up in festive red and gorgeous botanical displays.
Passed by the iconic Hotel 81, decked out in (now) retro pale blue.
Chinatown Point's Chinese New Year decorations were pretty muted, but I suppose a good hideout for some cool air!
I continued on towards Mosque, Pagoda and Temple Streets, where the real action is in Chinatown.
