Last year Geoff Wilson, who is one of only three people to have crossed Antarctica solo and unsupported, announced his next Antarctic adventure. Geoff will be seeking to complete the longest solo polar trek ever, and the first across the full 5,000 kilometre diameter of the Antarctic continent.
The only internet connection that will be available to Geoff while on his mission is the very limited and expensive satellite service. Having successfully sent Blrts from Antarctica when he was there in 2015 with The Unstoppables thinktank, Geoff will again rely on our patented technology to send dynamic updates from his upcoming record-breaking journey while using only a fraction of the bandwidth required by video.
Geoff is hoping to raise $1 million for the McGrath foundation as a result of his historic journey and we at Blrt will be keeping you posted on his progress so stay tuned!

This is a video recording of a Blrt.
Blrt is a communications platform - with mobile and desktop interfaces - that enables people to get their point across quickly by talking, pointing and drawing over images, documents and websites. The result is a video-like recording - called a Blrt - that can be shared with others and requires much less bandwidth than video.
Blrt was born to bring voice and gesture back to digital communication. In an era where activity-based working and distributed teams are commonplace, Blrt will revolutionise the way people interact to get things done.
