Have you ever wondered what would happen if we could time travel? In this fascinating talk, Nikk takes the audience on a philosophical journey about the dangerous impacts that time travel could have. Dr Effingham is Senior Lecturer and Head of Research in the School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion at the University of Birmingham. Nikk’s main research interests are in metaphysics, philosophy of time (predominantly time travel), philosophy of religion, and philosophy of epidemiology. He is currently finishing a book on the philosophy of time travel, arguing that whilst time travel may be logically possible, we should never, ever expect to see time travel take place.
