We got our parts back from Jacks transmissions and are reassembling our gearsets. This all started due to the damage our shift fork caused when it snapped. Getting this reassembly done correctly is crucial to having a smoothly shifting and long lasting transmission. We are replacing all the bearings and synchros in the transmission as well as first and second gear since they were worn down beyond the point of use and repair. We are also upgrading to double synchros for first and second gear
Our 4g63 swap is just not shifting right so we're tearing it down and diagnosing what is wrong. Not only will we fix what's wrong, but we also upgrade several parts in the transmission since we're already in here. This Mini Cooper is going to rip down every track it's put on haha
