This is the first time I have fished the River Eden and we were on the Warwick Hall beat. Unfortunately we didn't connect with a springer but it was an enjoyable day and another river ticked off! There was a 15lb springer caught a couple of days previous and other beats on the river were catching the odd fish, despite it being April. Our luck wasn't in today, but there will be many more trips across the year!
