With the recent resurgent success of Guild Wars 2, a successor would seem unlikely in the near future...however... we now know that officially ArenaNet is working on a NEW Fantasy MMORPG created in Unreal Engine 5.

In the last couple of months the new ArenaNet team based around this new project has been growing at an accelerated rate and you can see by their current job listings they are in overclocked mode:
