Pamela Wallin was appointed to the Senate of Canada in December of 2008. She is Chair of the Senate's National Security and Defence Committee, serves on the Veterans Affairs subcommittee and is also a member of the Senate's Foreign Affairs and International Trade Committee. Senator Wallin is also the Chancellor of the University of Guelph.
