Anjoud Harmouzi is addressing the dual challenges of pest management in agriculture while protecting the environment and human health. Recognizing the drawbacks of synthetic pesticides and the impact of weeds on crop productivity, her research focuses on developing alternative pest control methods. By utilizing extracts from certain invasive plants, her work aims to effectively combat pests that threaten sugar crop seedlings, offering a more sustainable approach to agricultural pest management.
