Who is Ben?

About this Video

Image galleries are the best solution to include multiple images in a post or page at once. A lot of beginners think they need a plugin to add a photo gallery to WordPress, but there's already a gallery block built-in.

To create a photo gallery, start by visiting the post or page you'd like to include the gallery in. Then create a new block and click the plus button on the left side of the screen. This will open up the block menu. Open up the Common Blocks section and you'll see the Gallery block which you can click to insert.

With the gallery block inserted, you'll see the buttons to add images via upload or your Media Library. Start by adding a few images and you can always add or remove them later.

The galleries added this way are completely responsive, so they'll look good on tablets and smartphones as well as desktop computers.

While the Gallery block is pretty limited in terms of customization options, it's very easy to use and doesn't require installing any new plugins.
