Police in Marigat intercepted a group of warriors suspected to have been on a revenge mission near Marigat trading center as they headed to the area market to avenge the killing of two children by raiders. The District Commissioner and security personnel ambushed the group which was armed with bows and arrows as they were heading to the Marigat auction, supposedly to deal with people they believed were behind the attack and who they expected would sell the stolen animals at the market. Tension is high in the area due to rising insecurity.
