(19 Dec 1994) Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres on Monday (19/12) attended a
meeting of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee in
West Jerusalem. The main issues discussed were the continued
Syrian backing of Hizbollah attacks in Lebanon and the stalled
negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
