The Pakistan occupied region of Gilgit-Baltistan has been rocked by widespread protests. Angry protestors are demanding the release of political activists and leaders who have been arrested and put behind bars under alleged false charges. While shouting slogans against the local administration and federal government of Pakistan, the protesters said that people of Gilgit-Baltistan were being brutalised indiscriminately by Islamabad.
