WATCH: The Philippine Navy's Spike ER Missile was successfully tested by Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM) from one of the 3rd Boat Attack Division's Multi-Purpose Attack Crafts (MPAC) during Naval Surface Fire Support (NSFS) events near 17.8 nautical miles southwest of Salkulakit Island, Basilan Province, last October 28, 2021. The missile was launched from MPAC BA489 at a range of 4km and landed dead center on its target.

Spike ER Missile is the navy's first missile capable of penetrating 1,000-mm (39 inches) of rolled homogeneous armor. The successful firing of the missile highlights the much-enhanced capability of the Philippine Navy. | via Kristine Mar Casampol
