The Starlink 11-2 mission is a part of SpaceX's ongoing effort to build a constellation of networked satellites to provide global broadband internet services. The mission is scheduled to launch from SLC-4E Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on December 12, 2024, at approximately 1:55 p.m. PT. The payload consists of 22 Starlink satellites including 13 direct-to-cell, which are part of the second generation of Starlink satellites aimed at providing high-speed, low-earth orbit internet services.
