Puto or Putong puti is a traditional Pinoy kakanin made from rice flour or galapong. Easy puto rice. Putong bigas or steamed rice cake is a delightful Filipino snack or breakfast. Now a days it's easy to make because of rice flour available in the market and it's easy to make. Not like before that you need to soaked rice first for overnight and grind or use blender.. to make galapong.

ingredients:
Putong bigas

1/2 cup rice flour
2 cups water
cooked in low heat until sticky, then set aside
let it cool first before adding to mixture.

3 1/2 cup rice flour
1 cup white sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp instant yeast
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 coconut milk

steam for 15 minutes
