"Tres Minutos Con La Realidad means “Three Minutes with Reality” in English. We fell in love with this music at first sight. It’s like a snapshot of life in Argentina or… anywhere you can imagine.

Like any other music by Astor Piazzolla, it is full of nostalgia, sadness and beauty, with very interesting themes. The middle part may take you to romantic streets of Paris or maybe to some scenes from movies by famous Italian director Federico Fellini. Simple emotions and passions are mixed with sublime and intellectual sounds.

Obsessions String Quartet was formed in 2005, and is an integral part of the Kent Sangster’s Obsessions Octet. The quartet's repertoire consists of unique string quartet hits, tangos, jazz standards, and more.

The String Quartet consists of four respected Edmonton musicians who are members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Alberta Baroque Ensemble, and other chamber groups.
