About 5 months ago, I can't believe it was that long ago, I made a video comparing some popular micro servos. It was a pretty basic video, with one of the criticisms being that it wasn't overly scientific. You can check out that original video here [ Ссылка ].
So, this video properly tests the servo's strength and current draw at stall. Each servo is tested for all voltage levels that it is rated for, as well as a general base amp reading. The test rig consists of:
- A 4S graphine LiPo, to supply more than enough power
- A UBEC with 5, 6, and 7.4 volt output levels, with a maximum current rating of 6A
- An L9R receiver, to command the servos
- A voltage and amp display, to show what the servo is drawing
- An electronic 10Kg travel scale, to measure the torque
