12 years ago a small group of dedication people came together and started Animals Lebanon.
In 12 years, we rescued thousands of lives and transformed abused animals ' lives like Bono.
We built a community and changed a culture that embraced animals.
Rescued endangered wildlife and signed Lebanon into international convention for their protection.
We passed the first set of animal welfare laws making animal abuse in Lebanon illegal.
Closed down abusive zoos and circuses.
Yet our biggest achievement last year signing an MOU with Ministry of Education to include animal welfare into Lebanese Curriculum.
But since the crisis in Lebanon began and the terrible collapse of our economy, the donations and events we locally depend on came to stop.
Nationwide protests for two months, collapse of government and economy, roadblocks, and bank closures and restrictions… This is the most difficult time we have ever faced. Prices are rising and many suppliers are only accepting dollars and immediate payment while banks give very limited funds
