The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning for Cyclone 'Asna,' a deep depression over the Arabian Sea that is causing heavy rains in Gujarat. Expected to move West-Northwest away from the Indian coast in the next 24 hours, the cyclone is currently 250 km West of Naliya in Gujarat, 160 km South-Southwest of Karachi in Pakistan, and 350 km East-Southeast of Pasni in Pakistan. Moving at a speed of 14 km per hour, 'Asna' has already resulted in very heavy rainfall in Kachchh and Gujarat, which has seen 50% more rain than normal since June 1. A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Jamnagar, Porbandar, Morbi, Dwarka, and Kutch districts.
