Android allows you to use edge lighting to notify you when someone sends you a text or if you get a message, comment, etc. from an app. In this video, I walk you through the steps on a Samsung device but it should work the same on any Android phone or tablet. You can change the effect, color, style, etc., and customize it for each contact on your phone as well.
