Final Seminar
The Lill-Nägels Agroforestry Pilot Project (2023) held its final seminar on December 1st, at Novia's Campus in Raseborg, Finland. At our final seminar we invited Joel Williams of Integrated Soils to speak to us about the principles of regenerative agriculture, engaged Rikard Korkman- the farm owner- to share his journey into this new way of farming, provided time for the project manager (Joshua Finch) to share the progress and future plans of the site, and Michael den Herder to speak about agroforestry in Finland.

The Lill-Nägels Project in Brief
The Lill-Nägels Agroforestry site is a forward looking pilot project investigating successional silvoarable agroforestry in Kirkkonummi, Finland. The project's primary goals are to restore soil fertility on degraded agricultural land through farmer-supported biodiverse plant communities; to restart viable regenerative cash cropping; and to broaden the farmer's product portfolio marketed directly to consumers through a CSA.
