🪦 eCommerce is about to die
eMarketer shared a new forecast for 2021 with an unnerving prognosis for eCommerce. The growth of mCommerce leaves no doubt that the eCommerce industry is living its final days. It’s time to start working on mobile customer experience and build relationships with the mobile audience.
📱The Danger of iOS 15 Update
The release of iOS 15 will bring along a number of changes. One of them is the redesign of the Safari browser that might break the eCommerce website design for mobile users. While for the time being users will be able to switch to the old version of UI, there is no information on how long it will be available. Looks like it’s time to adjust your website design.
🇺🇸 Walmart Demand-Side Platform
The era of third-party cookies is about to end. Walmart, being one the biggest retailer in the USA, sees this as an opportunity for business expansion. The company announced the creation of a Demand-Side Platform with the launch later this year. It looks like Walmart wants to eat into the market share that belongs to Google and Facebook now.
💫 Adobe – Leader in Magic Quadrant
For the fifth year in a row, Magento became a Leader in Magic Quadrant. Gartner highly evaluated the platform’s out-of-the-box functionality, global reach, and modern and intuitive user interface.
🤝 New Adobe Partnership with Order Management Systems
Adobe shared news about two partnerships with order management systems – IBM and Fluent Commerce. Two integrations will be available for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source. They will help merchants better meet the eCommerce requirements of today and tomorrow.
