In 2015, 146 won most sections of the band competition at Merseyside Wing Field Training Day, which means 146, along with cadets from Chester and Neston Sqns were put forward to represent Merseyside Wing at Regional level, against other bands in the Wales and West area.

The band portion is split into several sections, which 146 represented in Full Band, Ensemble, Percussion, Fanfare, Solo Bugler and Solo Drummer.

Merseyside Wing came 2nd in band overall.

To date, individual section results have not been announced.
