In this video tutorial, NailNovice shows you how to set up your work space ready for stamping and how to successfully achieve a clear stamped image along with the necessary tools needed.
*Please note: Yes, you DO need to use specialized Nail Stamping Polish. It is formulated to be thicker and dry quickly with a clear, opaque finish.
*I never primed, buffed or applied acetone to my stamper before use. If you follow the link below to the same stamper that I use and use a good quality stamping polish, you should be able to have the same, successful results!
STEPS:
1. Cleanse tacky layer from Gel Polish (or smoothly buff acrylic/gel)
2. Lay plate over a brush cloth or paper towel
3. Generously apply stamping polish
4. Immediately scrape polish towards you using a 45 degree angle
5. ROLL the stamper from left to right and up
6. Align the stamper above the nail
7. Firmly press directly DOWN and INTO the nail before rolling from side to side across the curve of the nail
8. Allow nail to dry
9. Cleanse your plate using isopropyl or acetone
10. Use a line roller (or cellotape) to remove remaining image from stamper
11. Top coat up to twice for full coverage designs
