Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
We will have a city sightseeing tour. You will visit Gandantegchilen monastery, followed by a visit to the Sukhbaatar Square and the National Museum of Mongolia. Continue city tour to see historical and beautiful museum of Winter Palace of Bogd Khan. Night in hotel (L)
Day 2 Ulaanbaatar - Tsagaan Suvraga (white cliffs)
We will drive to Tsagaan Suvraga (white cliffs) It is 50 m high and continues 400 m. It was formed approximately 10 million years ago and it indicates the different time: whitish, gray, yellowish and purple. Because it proves it was the sea many millions years ago. Enjoy beautiful picturesque cliffs. Night in Ger camp (B, L, D)
Day 3 Tsagaan Suvraga (white cliffs) - Yol valley
Drive to Yol valley. This valley is located in east Beauty Mountain of the “Gobi three beauty” and has a particular beauty with narrow canyons. It is elevated about over 2500 m high. This area occupies 64 sq.km The cliffs of the canyon block the sunlight from the rivers below, so that they remain frozen throughout the year. You can walk 3 km through reach the valley. Night in Ger camp (B, L, D)
Day 4 Yol valley - Khongor sand dunes
Drive to Khongor sand dunes. It is the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. The spectacular dunes are bordered by lush green vegetation supported by a small river Khongor river. Hiking and sliding through the sand dunes (1 hour camel riding) Night in Ger camp (B, L, D)
Day 5 Khongor sand dunes - Bayanzag cliffs
We will drive to Bayanzag which is a classic desert of cliffs, red sands, scrub, sun and unbelievable emptiness has become known to the world as "Cemetery of Dinosaurs”. The red sandstone cliffs and canyons of Bayanzag are where the American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews first discovered fossil beds of dinosaur bones and first ever recorded dinosaur eggs in 1922. Night in Ger camp (B, L, D)
Day 6 Bayanzag Cliffs - Ongi temple ruin
Drive to Ongi Temple, which is now an active small monastery with a temple was one of the Mongolian biggest 7 monasteries. There are 2 temple ruins which were built up in 1780s. During repression in 1930’s these two temples destroyed and many lamas were executed and imprisoned. Arrive at the camp, and after seeing sightseeing of monastery. Night in Ger camp (B, L, D)
Day 7 Ongi temple - Kharkhorin
Drive to Kharkhorin, which was the capital of Great Mongol Empire in 13th century. We will visit to the largest and oldest monastery Erdene Zuu, Kharkhorin museum where see the artifacts from Great Mongol Empire, Stone Age, Bronze Age etc. Also we will see Phallic and Turtle rocks. Stay overnight in Ger camp (B, L, D)
Day 8 Kharkhorin - Khustai National park
We will back to Ulaanbaatar. Overnight stop at Khustai National Park to see wild horses Takhi, widely known as “Przewalski horse”. It has a beautiful nature view. Night in tourist camp (B, L, D)
Day 9 Khustai National park - Ulaanbaatar
Back to Ulaanbaatar and we have a city tour. After lunch, we will see around Ulaanbaatar from top of the Zaisan Memorial Hills. We will go for shopping in cashmere shops. In the evening, attend traditional cultural performance which is one of the most interesting and must see things in Ulaanbaatar with its play of horse headed fiddle, throat singing, contortion, colorful dance and much more. Stay in hotel (L)
Day 10 Departure
Departure and check out your hotel.
